Hi again! If you’ve made it this far that means that you get to learn even more about my story!
Where am I from: I am from Charlotte, NC, but I also grew up in Oak Island, NC, just outside of Wilmington. I have always felt that my childhood, growing up in the city and on the coast, has shaped who I am and my perspective on the world.
What I do: I am currently a junior at UNC Chapel Hill who is passionate about learning, creating, and exploring what makes us human! I chose to study Psychology and advertising for that specific reason – it allows me to examine the cross-section between what we create, and the story it tells about ourselves.
Future Plans: I have many hopes for the future and yet, I am unsure what I want to do. I plan to work in various roles from psychiatry to project management, and I hope to gather stories to tell along the way.
My dream job – I would love to be a psychologists for reality television shows like Survivor, screening participants before the show begins!

Organizations
Survivor Carolina
I am the club president for Survivor at Carolina, an on-campus club designed to mimic the social strategy and experiences from the Survivor CBS reality TV show! As president, I am responsible for casting the show, organizing film production, and creating a sense of community centered around the game! Being involved in Survivor at Carolina has truly helped me learn what it means to be a leader and the various aspects involved in storytelling.
Artful Minds
I am the vice president of Artful Minds, an art club on campus that is devoted to bettering student mental health and well-being through art projects! Each week, club members get together to complete planned art projects in a low-stress environment to help students express themselves! As the vice president, I assist in managing club members, providing art materials, and planning art projects. This club has shown me the importance of human expression in shaping our identity, and how we don’t have to be skilled in a task to learn from it.
Experiences
As a student who wants to learn practical skills beyond my academics, I have had the privilege to study abroad in Florence, Italy, for a month this past summer (2025). In my program, (Lorenzo de Medici), I took classes that challenged me to explore new cities and immerse myself in different cultures, all while earning credit towards my major. My time in Europe forced me to learn skills like communication, leadership, and the value of pushing myself beyond what I think is possible. I truly treasure my time abroad, as it showed me the value of a real-life class environment and how a place can shape the person that you become.

What are your core values?
I have so many values that I care about – but I would say that my three most important values would be: 1) Compassion, 2) Ambition, 3) Determination
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I like to write stories, draw, bake, be outside, and dance (even though I am not very good at it). I hope to pursue some new creative hobbies this next year, like learning to knit!
What has been your favorite class at UNC-Chapel Hill?
My favorite class at UNC has been my biopsychology class (PSYC 220), because it showed me how human behavior is interconnected with our physiology/biological functioning. A close second would be my introduction to creative non-fiction class (ENGl 138), as it helped me explore creative professions and learn new literary styles that I hope to use in my career.
What are some of your skills that you think will help support your career goals?
I believe that I have had numerous experiences that have showed me the value of hard work, dedication, and experimentation, which I think will support my future career goals. Some practical skills that I have are:
- Operating Qualtrics, R studio, Jamovi for data analysis
- Sales/marketing
- Leadership experience
- Research experience (I have conducted marketing and psychology research)
- Editing experience (using Adobe premiere Pro and photoshop software)
I hope to learn many other skills that I can apply throughout my future job positions!
